Pulsar VIGIA
Compatibility
VIGIA includes different integrating mechanisms that makes it compatible with other tools monitoring networks, such as HP OpenView, Tivoli, Raida, Novo.
Tipically VIGIA is set up as a first and second level probe that reports towards HP OV all the incidences monitored.
Depending upon the amount and detail of monitoring asked to VIGIA, and the number of levels, the amount of communication between VIGIA and the monitoring platform will vary, and the type of technology used will also vary. Based on standards, VIGIA will send all notifications using SNMP Traps to the OIDs previously configured and selected within the existing monitoring platform.
We want to highlight that there is no limit to the Traps-OIDs configured per VIGIA, and it is possible to set up as many as needed to adjust the full integration of both solutions.
